Aikido ‘Come and Try’ Beginners Class and Instructors Demonstration

Date, Time and Location to be announced on this website

As part of the Japanese Autumn Festival, the Hong Kong Aikido Association will hold a ‘Come and Try’ beginner’s Aikido class. It is open to members of the public and is free of charge. It is aimed at those interested in Aikido and those who may be interested in practicing.

Please note that we may need to limit the numbers participating in the class and the numbers watching in order not to exceed the capacity of the dojo. Attendees will be admitted on a first come first served basis. We apologise in advance if we need to turn you away, but offer an open invitation to visit and watch any of our regular classes (details of the training schedule is available and regularly updated on the HKAA website).

Attendees are welcome to join the class or to just watch the class and/or demonstration.
*For those wishing to join the beginner’s class, it will include a warm up, some basic exercises and rolling, and an opportunity to practice some basic aikido techniques. Participation in the class is limited to those over 14 years of age. A reasonable level of fitness is required – if you have any injuries, please inform us. Please wear suitable comfortable clothing, for example, a T-shirt and track suit bottoms or leggings. Please empty any pockets and remove belts, watches, jewellery and other sharp items before you join the practice, and please ensure that your finger nails are cut short. We also recommend tying back long hair.
