農曆新年將至，我衷心祝願大家及家人身體健康、馬年進步！
這是我第一次以會長的身份向大家問候。 自 1971 年成立以來，協會一直致力在香港推廣日本合氣道武術。 今年我很榮幸能以新的角色與大家共同努力，繼續成為香港最具代表性的合氣道團體，並加強與合氣道本部道場和「國際合氣道連盟」的交流。
自1966年Virginia Mayhew女士在香港(尖沙咀香檳大廈)開設道場，葛迪雅師範 (Cottier Shihan) 於1971年成立香港合氣會，協會今天的成就都離不開每位現任和過往的指導員(教練)、會員及前輩的努力。 在此深表謝意。

憑藉我們在香港獨一無二的指導員(教練)團隊，我們將繼續為會員提供良好的學習平台，以學習和練習合氣道，延續 Cottier 師範的抱負。 2026 年是協會成的55 週年，這是一個重要的里程碑。 希望大家能齊心協力，共同舉辦慶祝活動，向大眾展示我們協會和諧及其真實面貌。

Dear Members,
As the Lunar New Year approaches, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes to you and your families for a healthy and prosperous Year of the Horse!
This is my first message to you as the Chairman of the Association. Since our founding in 1971, the Association has been dedicated to promoting the martial art of Japanese Aikido in Hong Kong. I am honored to work alongside you in this new role as we continue to establish ourselves as the most representative Aikido organization in Hong Kong and strengthen our exchange with the Aikikai Hombu Dojo and the International Aikido Federation (IAF).
From the time Ms. Virginia Mayhew opened her dojo in Tsim Sha Tsui (Champagne Court) in 1966 to the establishment of the Hong Kong Aikido Association by Cottier Shihan in 1971, our achievements today are the result of the tireless efforts of every current and past instructor, member, and senior. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you all.
【Toward Our 55th Anniversary】
With our unique team of instructors in Hong Kong, we will continue to provide a premier platform for members to learn and practice Aikido, carrying forward the vision of Cottier Shihan. The year 2026 marks our 55th Anniversary, a significant milestone for us. I hope we can all pull together to organize our celebrations and showcase the harmony and authentic spirit of our Association to the public.

🥋 【Lunar New Year Practice】:
Our next gathering will be the Lunar New Year Practice held on 21st Feb (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year). The session will be led by Samson Sensei. I look forward to seeing everyone there!.
🎊 【55th Anniversary Events】:
Information regarding celebratory activities and workshops scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2026 will be released gradually. Please stay tuned.
